Qualification isn't worth squat. Effort is. I put a little effort into that Bloomberg find in order to show you what can be achieved. I knew it was what it would take to get you going.

I suggest you look at the two company's web site presentations of their respective product lines. Try to imagine how a JNPR backbone router could be enhanced or remodeled by CIEN WDM router. How about JNPR incorporating the other ancillary equipment offered by CIEN into a new enhanced offering? It isn't realistic to expect that you can do this, because the engineers at these two companies are probably trying to figure out that too. Nonetheless, you will become familiar with what these companies make and so you will be ready to interpret correctly if something starts developing. Keep me apprised.
