etrade just sent me a margin call saying I have to liquidate.. however, I have a positive cash balance and have NEVER used margin... i called etrade... spent 30mins on the phone.. they dont have a clue why they sent me that margin call and they are researching it now to figure it out... what a nightmare this is gonna be if they tell me I owe them some money... i can't remember the last time i bought more than my cash balance allowed.. and went into margin.. and since i dont hold anything more than a day or two.. I'd have imagined that I'd have shown a margin balance in my account by now.. add this to the growing list of issues they are researching for me... still waiting on my january rebate jim
