Siemens, 3Com, Newbridge Consider Listing for Venture: Magazine Munich, Feb. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Siemens AG, Europe's fourth- largest mobile phone maker, and partners Newbridge Networks Corp. and 3Com Corp. are considering listing their computer network joint venture on a U.S. exchange to keep it competitive against rivals such as Cisco Systems Inc. and Lucent Technologies Inc., the German Finanzen magazine reported in a preview of its March edition, citing unidentified banking sources. The companies also likely will exchange some of their own shares with each other as part of the listing. ''The companies are talking intensively about a share exchange,'' the paper quoted an unidentified analyst as saying. Newbridge, Canada's No. 2 phone-equipment maker after Norte Networks Corp., put itself up for sale in November after warning for the third time in four quarters that its profit would fall short of analyst expectations.
