Not meant as a slam for HWP, but isn't it interesting the stock movement of DELL vs HWP in light of both companies' recent earningsreports:

H-P victimized by profit concerns
PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Hewlett-Packard shares fell after the world's No. 2 computer maker reported lower fiscal first-quarter earnings, dragged down by less profitable personal computers and printers. Hewlett-Packard (HWP) fell 6.00 to $125.00 in early afternoon trading Thursday, down from Wednesday's record close. Profit fell 10%, mostly because the products that did best in the quarter were consumer devices that typically carry narrower profit margins than computers for corporations. At the same time, Hewlett-Packard's expenses rose 15%. Profit fell to $794 million, or 80 cents a share, from $882 million, or 85 cents, a year ago. H-P was expected to earn 78 cents a share, according to First Call/Thompson Financial.
