Telecomm Industries Corp. Appoints President of Internet Subsidiary
NAPERVILLE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 17, 2000--Telecomm Industries Corp. (OTCBB:TCMM - news) announced today that Mr. Micheal Meece has been named President of the Company's Internet Service Provider subsidiary, NetVision.Com. Mr. Meece previously served as NetVision's Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions.
Telecomm Industries President and CEO Paul Satterthwaite stated, ``Mr. Meece is ideal for the position. He has been involved with all of the key individuals at NetVision since its inception and has already demonstrated the necessary tools for the task at hand. His experience involving the development of a direct sales organization with a focus on business to business sales of communications services and equipment will prove invaluable to the organization.'
NetVision's President Micheal Meece added, ``While I fully expect that a large portion of my time will still be spent investigating other acquisitions, the added title will allow me to focus more on the successful integration of the acquisitions, implementation of the business plan and continued growth of both revenue and earnings. Telecomm retains a significant majority ownership of its subsidiary, NetVision.Com, which operates as an Internet Service Provider and focuses on web hosting, e-commerce and other business-to-business applications and services. NetVision closed its first acquisition on November 15th when it successfully completed the Merger of AyeNet into the business. The transaction with the second Internet provider, Global Marketing, became effective on January 28, 2000.
