Is this all due to the mention this morning on Squawk Box or have I missed something?

In regards to my use this morning of Internet where I should have said network, buried in today's Gilder Report is the following sentence: The ultimate hardware solution is to create an all-optical path where software is removed entirely and information flashes around the Net on wings of light. Sounds like he envisions a day when the internet will be all optical.

I had one of the most expensive lunches I've ever had today. I was able to grab the Gilder Report almost as soon as it was posted today (approx. 12:30). I skimmed it and didn't pick up any new stocks and since the server was apparently down at TD Waterhouse, I decided to eat lunch. After I had my delicious <g> non meat burger, I carefully read the report and found that the company Mirror Image which was discussed extensively was owned by Xcelera (XLA on the AMEX) which I missed on my first perusal. I went to the computer and called up my streaming quotes which are unfortunately not real time for the AMEX and saw it trading at 131. Tried Waterhouse and it was still down so went the phone route. After an interminable wait, I got a broker and he quoted XLA at 220 but said something didn't look right. He put me back on hold and after I had watched TERN (which I wanted more of)go from 178 down to 173 and back to 178, He came back and said XLA was halted -- testimony to the power of the Gilder Technology Report. If only I had postponed that burger, I could have had XLA at 130 something.

On the plus side, I already owned TERN and it popped about 36 on further endorsement by Gilder.
