Elmer, everybody seems to be scratching their heads here as to what, exactly, a 7th generation processor, under the Intel definition, can do. As near as I can tell, it wasn't really made clear in the Intel dog and pony show, except that one (1) part existed that could make their CPU meter program show 1.5 ghz. We also know that Compaq, HP and Dell are ready with the properly labeled boxes from the printers whenever Intel gives them some ghz cumines to ship. I liked Intel a lot better when they stuck to the old theology of "We do not comment on unannounced products".

As for Engel, from everything I've read here, he's a jackass, or maybe I should say Athwipe, to use his preferred terminology. I've not seen a single informative post from him, and I've quit looking. If you want to cheer him on, that's your business.
