August, I think this is the post you are looking for: Message 12725797 But it was stated that the "current search will remain at three(3) months as in the original SI." I questioned that because in the original we are able to search a total of six(6) months. Besides this being yet another pit fall, I thought you guys were gonna beef up the searching features. Can you give me a straight answer? We are planning to have an "advanced search" for Silicon Investor, but a launch date has not been decided, and engineering has not been completed. The program that does generic full-text searches of the millions of messages posted to SI must be limited in some way to maintain speed. An advanced search, when implemented, would be best suited for historical searching. John
