Neocon,

Your "tipping" post tells me just how much liberals don't
get it. Recently, Business Week magazine published the
results of a survey of charitable contributions by income.
Interestingly, it is low income people ($20,000 or less)
who donate the highest percent of their income (5%), and
people who earn the highest levels (over $100,000) donate
the smallest percentage of their income (1%). Yet, you
would never know it by the way the media presents the groovy
donations by people like Bill Gates and Hollywood Media
Moguls. Its obvious that the people who need money the
most are the most willing to give. Yet one more "myth"
about the poor perpetuated by the "Liberal Elite" as
Newt Gingrich used to call them.
