ANNOUNCEMENT OF YEAR END RESULTS FOR THE PERIOD ENDED DECEMBER 31, 1999
OTTAWA, CANADA, February 17 /CNW/ - World Heart Corporation will hold a
telephone conference call for shareholders and interested members of the
financial community following the release of year end results for the period
ended December 31, 1999. The call will take place on Tuesday February 22nd ,
2000 and will be hosted by Roderick M. Bryden, President and Chief Executive
Officer, who will be accompanied by Dr. Tofy Mussivand, Chairman and Chief
Scientific Officer and Ian W. Malone, Chief Financial Officer.
