G.,

I was referring to John G's response to Katherine "the bear" Derbyshire in which both were surmising an early demise to this expansion - Katherine much more strongly than John.

Katherine's assumptions are rather suspect; seem not to consider the past underspending and the need to make up for this just to handle current demand. She also seems to underestimate the amount of growth in demand for chips; and I could find no appreciation of the healthy and strengthening global economy and its demand for more chips anywhere in her speculation about the cycle's end.

However, she's not wrong just early. ;^)

One could also have said the same about Michael Metz, Barton Biggs and the intellectual midget, Silly Billy Flakenstein. <g>

Best wishes,
Ian.
