Dean - indeed we held $21.

FWIW - it would appear that we're polar opposites. I bought elnk about 3 years ago, haven't sold a share. You've been trading it - hopefully successfully.

I'm pure buy and hold. Not smart enough to gauge short term trends and momentum. also can't take the tax consequences.

In 3 years, I've seen a lot happen to the company and they "seem" to be following their biz plan and projections. Profitablity was projected for this year, I certainly hope so.

Couple of interesting things: in 2001, Sprint can buy elnk or a big hunk of it. They've had a standstill for the last couple of years. It'll be interesting to see if wcom gets fon and then what transpires.

For the life of me, I don't know why the stock is so flacid.
Incursion of "free isps." Yeah. Sector out of favor. Definitely yeah. Increased cost per sub due to increased competion. Oh yeah!

Factor all this together and I remain long. Bloodied but not beaten.
