Benny, What about BankOne? Didn't they get stock in their deal with CKFR?

I'm still digesting the magnitude of this deal with Transpoint. Has Microsoft ever folded their venture into a competitor? Maybe the DOJ forced them out of their first choice TO BUY CKFR!

In any event, the major players in banking and Microsoft have really boosted my confidence in CKFR management. These companies wouldn't turn their substantial investment in EBPP over to an outside company unless they weren't extremely impressed with management. The dollars wasted in developing Transpoint's system is mind boggling. I think Pete has proved once and for all that there are significant barriers to entry into this market!

The way Pete and his team have stayed focused through all the "announcements" of the last two years is impressive. Buying their stock back in the 6-10 range was also a smooth move. (Although they probably wish, like I do, that they'd bought more!!)

The only concern I have is the price tag paid for Transpoint. Without numbers from them, it's difficult coming to a firm conclusion. I think the lack of support from banks for Transpoint was hurting them big time. Would the billers have come to CKFR anyway??

Thanks for all your posts, Benny. The growth in this market has been full of distractions and you and others have helped me keep my eye on the ball, so to speak.

Regards...Terry
