Book value $1.28 MG Brief: BRIEF: Ocean Bio-Chem, Inc. is principally engaged in the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of a range of appearance and maintenance products for boats, recreational vehicles and aircraft under the Star Brite name. For the 9 months ended 9/30/99, net sales rose 11% to $10.8M. Net income totalled $427K, up from $137K. Results reflect sales of new products, price increases on selected products, higher margins and lower advertising expenses. No insider selling last 12 months... only buying. Insiders own 60% of the O/S. 3 institutions own a total of 330K shares. PE ratio 15 vs industry 23 and S&P 36 Short interest: 0 73 employees. Tom
