SSP, <<clean shells>> As you are aware, we have speculated on the value for private companies to merge with clean shells to minimize their filing costs. IMO there's also potential for current public companies that face pink, or are pink to become fully reporting by merging with a fully reporting clean shell. The CEO of MXAM told me recently that it cost his company almost $1MM to fully file, they will be losing their pink color soon. $1MM is a lot of cash to find for many small nonearning public companies. The "pink" pressure may open a number of opportunities not appreciated for fully reporting clean shells.
