If this is true, that Microsoft goes open source, then the Justice Dept. ain't got no case. This should be very, very bullish for the stock. Even, if others can copy, it will be difficult to challenge the original maker with all their financial wherewithal. (IE: AMD vs. INTC) At the same time, MSFT is off the hook with all the legal and political pressure on their business. Investors would look to get back in, the shorts would be dead in short order. If this is verified, expect major upside gapping on this stock.
