I think you make a very important point in your post: what you feel emotionally comfortable with. One's own psyche determines the way one enters a market.

Per all our discussion on selling puts when oversold (as your brilliant play on GLW in the 140s) why would you be selling MORE on the way up? Curious how ed would weigh in on this.

Guess I'll look at the SEBL, on which I own leaps. Why are you disturbed by owning leaps on a stock you're bullish on? They have great leverage. Ed uses DIM leaps as stock substitutes...for example I followed Loffy's example and bought the SEBL 70s a while back...I think SEBL wasin the low 90s then.
