An unnamed analyst says the rally may be tied to last week's announcement by Loewen that it has hired two new directors. Other unnamed analysts say investors may have bid up the stock in anticipation of more good news on the debt restructuring front. The Globe concludes by citing an analyst who says paying more than $1.30 a
share is a dangerous game.
