Katherine,

AMAT in their CC said DRAM as a % of revenues was 24%, somewhat low by historical standards but then we are witnessing much greater levels of spending for broadband, wireless, and internet. However, with many companies now outsourcing to foundries, could the actual DRAM % not properly be reflected by these numbers? Do you know if AMAT takes DRAM produced in foundries into account when coming up with their numbers? This is a new trend and if not properly delineated, it may make historical comparisons a moot point.

TIA,

Brian
