that's how most people look at it.. however, you WILL NOT get more than 50shares in one account of ANY IPO any longer from etrade.. my family has 13 accounts .. 11 of them have NEVER gotten an IPO... we have only gotten 2 IPOs this year in almost 20 IPO attemps.. you do the math.. many of these accounts are platinum... the rest are not.. just the luck of the draw one guy got GIGM IPO in 3 of 6 accounts tonight.. go figure.. wish that would happen to me ;) jim
