CDNX has requested a news release- here is the news: Wavve Telecommunications Inc - Wavve responds to trade halt Wavve Telecommunications Inc WV Shares issued 60,447,494 2000-02-17 close $11.5 Thursday Feb 17 2000 Ms. Desiree Hennessy reports In response to the halt in trading of the company's stock by the CDNX, Wavve Telecommunications is issuing this news release as a follow up to its Jan. 20, 2000, news release in Stockwatch, wherein it had entered into initial discussions regarding a potential financing. In this regard, Wavve has engaged the services of two investment banking firms to assist in this process and has commenced meeting with potential investors. The terms of the financing will not be determined until after the completion of the meetings. Due to the preliminary stage of this process, it must be stated that there can be no assurance that the parties will agree to terms and that this financing will be completed.
