Re: " The price is going UP and it won't be coming back down to today's levels."

It seems to me that Inprise the company with great products and greater ideas is not the same as INPR the stock.

Cold hard cash for Corel paper is just not drawing the crowds!

Investors may be willing to stick around and see gradual growth of Inprise (Linux) but not an immediate draining of cold hard cash.

It seems that Borland/Inprise has always had BIG BIG ideas (and I'm not judging them bad) but could not wait for them to develop? They always cut to the chase just when things are looking up and they have a little cash on hand.

There is something about the timing of their moves that just doesn't seem right. This Corel deal had the same feel to it that the VisiGenic's deal had. It came out of nowhere like a thump in the night! Just enough to get your attention but then that's it! Nothing else? Is this for real? Is it good? Can it fly? Is it suppose to? How? And then dead silence and slow burning of your cold hard cash as you quietly watch your stock value dropping til you decide to put a stop to it.

As I have said before this deal was public. Inprise needs to get rid of those bulky dead business expenses before they go off acting like the next best new idea in the world!

From what I've read Cowpland saw right through them and started working them at those Linux shows. He's a shark and probably had his teeth sharpened when MSFT put that $100m in Fuller's hands? Pity!
