Yes, agreed, and I would note that with Tern's S-CDMA and now their acquisition of the wireless DVB(digital video broadcasting- which I learned is also behind the European competition to DOCSIS- they now have positions in two of three possible cable solutions(though DVB might not matter much in that space, while S-CDMA over cable is coming much clearer to me now). Gilder managed, I think, to cover several points made on the CMTO thread. Some points made there were based on Anti-CDMA guesswork and a lack of having read previous GTR's. As if Gilder never explained his reasons for favoring CDMA over TDMA and expects we should take it on faith, as if, LOL. Hey, he could be wrong, but as my understanding grows, it seems increasingly unlikely to me.

I see nightline is doing a show on "moving from clicks to bricks- the revenge of the malls." Better go watch.
