I imagine she does stare at you when you drive by. She wonders how on earth that
thing will still run!!!

Don't they sell paint in "Boogerville"?

The tractor was part of the place when we bought it from her folks. He always had trouble getting it to run, but it seems pretty happy with me.

I'm expecially fond of "rats", or machines that look awful but work well. That tractor is definitely a rat. When it was sitting in a field near a dirt track that it'd spent a couple of days building, one of my son's friends suggested I fire up the backhoe and drag that old relic out of their way so they could ride. He was pretty shocked when my son started it right up and moved it.

There are some intentional "rat" touches to it. Like the lights.

It's been promised a restoration (resto-mod, actually) as soon as the big workshop is built. Planning to put a Woods belly mower under it then paint it to look like a huge Cub Cadet. The purists on the tractor discussion site I frequent always scream in agony when I say that.
