I am long both. IMO, they both are legit. GEMS has been in the paging business for about 30 years. In the last 3 to 5 years this business declined however, GEMS developed technology that it and Motorola are taking forward to the wireless world. GEMS also has gone through a rationalization of its assets and management. I think it has focused on products and markets where it can succeed. Time will tell.

ZOOM has been a successfull modem manufacturer that has been down until recently. Seems to have good products. It has excited me with its entry into wireless networking for the home. It looks like it may have winners in this market that might propel it profitably.

Just my thoughts - hope this helps.t
