I don't understand WHY the DOJ is NOT talking to Gartner Group et al to learn the impact of leaving MSFT alone?!?! This type of pricing has 2 possible paths - everyone goes MSFT or everyone leaves MSFT. But let's see - if you've already danced with the devil, how DO you get your soul back? Should be interesting to see how things work out - I can say this, perhaps MSFT can prevail here in the US somehow but I doubt they can do the same outside of the US. People HATE rich, table-pounding, robber-baron US Companies....(and I do not exclude any US-based companies from this scorn). Just an opinion folks - people will "vote" with their wallets on whether or not MSFT will "get away" with their new pricing requirements. Regards, Peter J Strifas
