Boston Communications Group Reaches Two Million Subscriber Mark Prepaid Market Leader Doubles Base Year Over Year
WOBURN, Mass., Feb 14, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Boston Communications Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:BCGI) today announced it has doubled its prepaid wireless subscriber base, reaching two million - in less than 12-months. BCGI attributes the 100 percent, year-over-year growth to their expanded nationwide roaming network, real-time rating capabilities and the increasing commitment to prepaid programs from wireless carrier customers.
According to David Berndt, Director at the Yankee Group, "BCGI currently serves approximately forty percent of the overall prepaid subscriber market in the United States today."
