Thanks Dave, your comments are well received. I know the feeling well, purchased CTII at $6.00, I really do believe in the stock, watch it fall to almost $3.50, got nervous, sold off and took at hit, today it's about $8.00.
I am fairly new to let's say "intense" trading. I am on what I term a financial mission for personal reasons. Consequently, the "value" plays, whether intrinsic or solid theory, I feel is the place where one belongs.
On the other hand, as you accurately identified, the "momentum" plays I attempt to ride also. I am trying to learn how to "read" charts, now a great deal of luck. I know though that a chart is only one criteria from a wide range of variables. I guess the bottom line is, as you have said, determine your approach and play it, forget about the rest. I will comment though, one needs to have fairly extensive surplus capital to hold and wait.
Incidentally, course this is kinda a kick, me offering to you, but I uncovered a company ANST, has alot of money, cost is only about 2 x book, small float, looked pretty good to me.
Thanks again! Tim |
