Is there any grandfather rules? If we exchanges NNC with ALA on takeover, we do not need to adjust the foreign content % until we actually sell ALA.

Say my RRSP 100% is in NNC and I exchanges it with ALA. 100% of my portfolio is then in foreign. I think that I do not need to do anything until I sell ALA. Besides, foreign context is based on book value not current market value.

Just a thought!
