Janus to invest $930 million in Healtheon/WebMD
ATLANTA, Jan 27 (Reuters) - Internet healthcare company Healtheon/WebMD Corp. (NASDAQ: HLTH) said on Thursday that Janus Capital Corp. would invest $930 million in the company in exchange for 15 million Healtheon shares.

The terms of the private transaction work out to $62 per share.

Healtheon/WebMD will use the proceeds to fund the cash portion of its recently announced acquisition of Envoy Corp., the electronic transaction unit of Quintiles Transnational Corp. (NASDAQ: QTRN), and to provide working capital for general corporate purposes.

Shares of Healtheon/WebMD closed at 66-5/16 on Wednesday, off a 52-week high of 126-3/16 and up from a low of 21-3/4.
