from gold eagle...if i could understand where these guys are going with their pretzel logic...
@Horoa (TQ) Feb 18, 18:15 I find it interesting that the day chart for Franco-Nevada shows a very sharp drop on the last few trades. Looks like someone wants the stock to end lower. The stock has been trending down. Why, I wonder?
Let's imagine (here we go again with imaginary problems) that someone knows (believes) that a number of important traders' computers are monitoring key and important gold stocks (like FN and even poor little First Silver Reserve.) The belief is that the computers are programmed to buy certain gold stocks on broad market declines, if the gold stocks close up!
So, to keep gold in its place and avoid a panic rush by programmed trading into gold, the stock of important gold stocks (like FN) are held in reserve and then aggressively sold AT DAY'S END on days and weeks when the gold sector historically would be purchased.
As an earlier post indicates, some companies are checking out golds, and they need time. So the near term decline of FN and FSR etc. is a tactic to buy time for the BOYZ. They need to accumulate slowly over a long period of time so as not to excite the Volume numbers, which would be a pure green light to those with any doubt in their minds.
For the rest of us, we can happily accumulate a few more shares of our favourites, courtesy of the BOYZ who like the Soup Nazi on Seinfeldt, shout the stars out of the lineup.
This is my thinking, as this is what I would do to win if I worked for the other team (which I don't, I hope you know.) (P.S. I like to win too. And I plan too. You Betcha! [as we used to say west of here.] |
