Chop,

I didn't open an Etrade account....I opened one @ Wit Capital, I noticed they didn't have any GIGM to offer.

I see many of you guys open more than one account @ etrade to increase your chances of getting allocations. Does that really work? Is there a minimum amount or other requirements involved to get allocations @ etrade. I was thinking I should put at least 5K in an etrade account and take my chances. Does this mean I also need to open an account at FBR, to take advantage of other offerings not offered at etrade or wit?

I'm not interested in trading from etrade, I would just like some ipo allocations. I'm very happy with my cybercorp and Dreyfus account for trading

regards,
Jeff
