Today was a very sad and trying day for me....

Theres this toy which my toddler loves...and he broke the top off playing with it....

He was so heartbroken when the toy broke and kept crying, the baby tears rolling down his cheeks, his golden curls wet with sweat and distress...

He kept pointing at it - "byokie byokie"...(broken broken)..expecting me to fix it up....kept crying and crying and crying as if his heart was broken...just couldn't make him understand that mommy could not fix it but *could* get a new one...! I think my halo slipped a little today...

M&Ms worked only for a while - till he remembered the broken toy....and broke into tears, messy face and all..."byokie byokie"

It was tough to see him crying with such emotion - as if his little world had come to an end !

I think that was the first loss of his life....and it touched my heart !
