I agree for the most part. We shouldn't get into a lengthy discussion of other OT stocks on a particular thread. However, I do not mind a tip or two as in "you might look at xxx" (not you xxx). I have been tipped to a number of good buys in that very manner. I am even "guilty" of puting in such a plug for GLE on, well, the PLUG thread. In depth discussion, create or retreat to the specific thread. I think this is fairly reasonable. Also you can easily send a private message to someone who mentions a stock in passing. That way the thread is not polluted.
