I agree the upgrades sure look like Liar's Poker from the sell-side guys so the buy-side guys can bail out at better prices. This stock's become a blight on my portfolio. I lost $150K today, most of it on this one issue. Of the 12000 shares I've sold over the past few months, 8000 were sold at prices above today's close, and the other 4000 were sold at a price not much more than 5% below where we are now. Meanwhile the grab-bag of other issues I bought is up an average of 25% even after today's losses. Looks like I should have sold another 4000-8000 at 109. JFD called the MF managers irresponsible for dumping the stock in the low 100s but now they look like geniuses, eh?
