Ausdauer, in this industry users tend to collect all manner of obsolete devices. When it comes to tape backups, over time I have owned a 40MB backup, a hardware compression card that turned 250MB into 500MB, a 4/8 GB unit, and now a 10/20GB unit. My disk upgrades were equally numerous (and expensive).

When 128MB+ flash cards are reasonably priced, users will flush their 8/16/32MB cards. End users have come to expect obsolescence. For SNDK's sake, let's give it to them! I fully expect that once every last e-cam user has his shirt pockets filled with CF cards, "CF/II" will be announced and become the "new standard" for all new cameras.

Craig

PS I don't know about everyone else but, for me, Alan Greenspan's speech scoarched my portfolio bigtime. Hopefully, by Tuesday everyone (including Mr. G.) will have figured out that cheap imports and a strong dollar are the ingredients for containing inflation rather than the Fed's interest rate policy.
