On line, bad as they are, everyone seems to agree they are the best, of the worst - TD Waterhouse, used to be TD Greenline, many of us refer to them as TurDy. Web Broker will drive you nuts, and cost you money all over the place, only alternative I see, is the phone, or move the account to the US.
I leave a ton of money on the table, and it hurts when you look back, so I find it's best not to look back. Keep playing it safe, and you'll always leave some on the table, but you'll rarely lose. As long as your gains, are bigger than your losses, you are moving ahead, gaining ground, learning, and getting better. And...the stash of cash, will grow.
EISQ way to go...taking the tops right off them, is one of the best feelings around.
I know people that make a shit load of money in whatever business they are in. Case in point, a buddy made something like $300,000 in his real job last month. But he daytraded a stock, in and out in less than an hour for $600 US gain one day this week....he was one heck of a lot more excited, and proud about that, than he was about the pile he made doing real work work. |
