Last I heard Schwab was claiming they had no idea what went wrong... whats strange to me is how did the computer system and parts of the phone system all quit working at the same time.. and why did they continue to allow folks to log on and try to execute trades when it wasn't working,, seems they should have shut it down and not accepted log ons, at least for trading. But then the phone said if you don't want to wait for your Plat rep, press one, and that didn't work either, so why didn't they quit playing that message? I guess easy for me to say, I wasn't there trying to deal with the problems.
