Morgan Stanley is selective and careful about taking unreasonable risks. They have a Managing Director on IMPT's board of directors and have recruited British Telecom as another major investor. High Quality firms like Nortel have also agreed to form alliances with Impsat Fiber Networks. IMO, the risks of investing in IMPT outweigh the rewards. Please see the IMPT SI thread or the IMPT RB thread for a further discussion. The 'S&P news on IMPT' has been out for over a week and the stock continues to rise. IMO, IMPT will be at new highs in the weeks to come. Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs are the major underwriters --they are THE BEST in the business. Follow the BIG money and the SMART money and you'll see that it's getting on board 'the IMPT train' <G>. Within 2 weeks you'll also see the analysts initiate coverage on the stock. At that time I'm sure they'll address the risks of investing in a major telecom / bandwidth / fiber firm in Latin America. This is a LONG TERM investment for me and a major position in my online IRA.
