ed-- I would never short msft,, but will not hold through a drop of over 30% and watch gains run away. If a repurchase a few points higher is required that is better than holding at a loss for any period. Besides our problem with the doj all mkts are beginning to feel Uncle Als kicking and screaming. He wants to see traditional P/Es and will do anything possible to see them back! The only reason I held through Fridays debacle on GE and AOL also was it being options day,, if things do not look brighter Tues it will be time for a rest until things stabilize or turn,, but I would not short any of those three... Yes-- If things get rocky I'll be away for awhile and would dream of 80,, but if the resistance at 93 does not hold look for the 80s easily IMO. A settlement by msft would be great for the entire tech sector at this time,, maybe Uncle Al and the judge are talking,,
