Perhaps I should have amended that to say "all successful cultures".

Hitler violated natural principles and suffered the consequences. The consequences were momentous, the dislocation of the entire world for years.

When dealing with self-evident natural laws we can choose either to manage in harmony with them or to challenge them by working some other way. Just as the laws are fixed so are the consequences.

When thinking of principles the way to look at it for me is not to look at "why you think". But "how you think". Listening to your inner conscience, and tapping into it is the key. Quiet your mind and you will see these truths to be self evident. All people admire the attributes of honesty, integrity, courage, trust, trustworthiness and fairness. Because our "natural laws" guide us.
