The difference is AMZN as a retailer and at $20B cap is worth more mainstream than AOL a media delivery vehicle with a cap at the time of $200B.

Think about it.. AOL still is worth $120B while AMZN - the new paradigm in retailing is worth on $20B. What's wrong with this picture... If AMZN shows income growth in the book business and modest income growth in other businesses watch this puppy pop. Of course notwithstanding our little macro problem with Greenspans policies. That could very well put the Kybosh on the entire market <period>. Great time to short the market???
