Here is my take on cable vs. DSL copied from @home thread. DSL will crush cable modems! How do I know? Because I have one!!! It is the most unreliable service in any industry that I have EVER used! It is down about 75% of the times I try and use it! Who has time to use the internet at 2:00 AM or during work hours? Sometimes it doesn't even work at midnight or 1:00 Am in the morning. I now have Netzero which I use more than @Home because is 100% more reliable than @Home. When DSL arrives, I will switch GUARANTEED! The only reason I keep it is for those big downloads that I need for software and I will usually do late at night! I call repeatedly and the only answer they have is to keep a log to ask for credits! What a joke! Why don't the have some competence and fix their infrastructure! MB
