Hi Christine. I hope you watched the NOVA episode this past week about Kenniwick man and the others of his ilk. It was very good. If you didn't, in a nutshell, there are a number of skeletons that have been discovered in the Americas that are about the same age as Kenniwick man (about 9,000 years old) and have similar Caucasoid features. The anthropologists who were interviewed said that Caucasoid doesn't necessarily mean white, and that based on the measurements that they have of skulls all over the world, they were most similar to the Ainu.
