Most of the loses are the friends and family of those that don't play this game on a regular basis. There's no way to warn people. Have you ever said anything negative (while true) about a company on a stock thread? The longs will cut your nuts off and you get a title basher. A dream is powerful and that's the problem. The uninformed are the most religious about their investments; would good old uncle Charlie lead them wrong? Momos move, the upward movement adds credibility. People are always willing to pay more at a top, then bottom. There's the pressure to get in or lose out. IMO we should look for stocks that have inherent value and then bring them to full value so they don't have to decline. The multiples for the momo are gained, and the orphans and widows preserve their capital. Maybe we need Golden value thread? <VBG> BTW, of all the stock threads I follow, I must say that you are one of the most honest and forthright penny player on SI. That's one of the main reasons I follow this thread closely.
