Eric, FYI, I have @home for about one month now. I believe I'm the first or second on my block to connect up to it. I'm very impressed with the service. Both downloads and uploads are significantly faster than the dial-up service I used to have, although I do notice some degradation at certain times of the day (mostly in the evening). I upload lots of 2MB picture files via email and I get very fast transfer rates. I have never noticed an outage of service with the exception that my eudora mail client will sometimes not get a response from the pop server, however it checks for new mail every minute. I am really pleased with the @home service and do recommend it to my family and friends. rll P.S. I do not have a position in athm because I'm not sure what will happen when T allows multiple high bandwidth ISP's. Although, I do feel that cable modems are the future for the majority of internet connections. I'm thinking T may be a better investment play in the growth of high bandwidth connections.
