Stephen - Re: "Is Intel Doing an End-Run Around Microsoft" The author is an idiot. He never mentioned Microsoft writing software and OS's to support CPUS that COMPETE with Intel: 1. MIPS - NT 2. AMD - 3DNOW 3. Alpha NT 4. Power PC - Macintosh Microsoft's business is to sell as much software as they can - any way they can. Intel's business is to sell as many CPUs as they can - ANY WAY THEY CAN. Paul
