I had a neighbor who was treated vigorously for liver cancer but still died at around 45. His widow, against the doctor's advice, had an autopsy performed. Not a sign of cancer but a lot of chemical and radiation damage. She lives very well now.

A friend almost died twice from being treated for stomach cancer, 2nd opinion was an ulcer which they cured.
