Intel will probably come up with special benchmarks which will enhance ALU as percentage of ops in that routine,and therefore come up with unusually high score

It doesn't make any performance difference how often the ALU is used. The only time that a fast ALU will make any difference is when the pipeline drains, at which time it will refill faster.

The performance is determined by the slowest pipe stage, not the fastest. The fast ALU is like having a strong link in an otherwise weak chain. It does not improve the quality of the chain.
