Hank,
I don't give a damn if Bill or anyone agrees with me about a stock. The only thing that galls me about Bill is that he blatantly lies, puts out deceitful information, misrepresents facts, hypes a position with derogatory language, doesn't substantiate his opinions, and ignores reasonable questions about his comments.
You stated opinions in your post as if they are facts. Like Bill, you have never been right about any substantive issue related to Gum Tech, and I believe that you will be wrong about the things that you state "will" happen.
The independent study that was just concluded on Zicam had more participants than the study that JAMA published on Cold-Eeze. Yet, we are to believe your comment "Studies on Zicam are statistically insignificant, hence they will NEVER be published in a major medical journal such as NEJM"?
<Zicam is not proven.>
It doesn't matter if Zicam is proven to "Hank". According to the FTC, Zicam is proven enough for Gum Tech to claim that it is clinically proven to reduce the duration of the common cold by 78%. More importantly, Zicam is proving itself in the marketplace and "Hank" can't stop it.
<By next cold season , there will be at least a half dozen Zicam knockoffs on the shelves>
In one sentence you say that Zicam "is ineffective and not worth the expense, discomfort, or trouble." In another sentence, you say that a half dozen knockoffs will be the shelf. You mean to tell me that a half dozen companies will go to the trouble and expense of doing the R&D, development, and marketing of a product that is ineffective and not desired by consumers? If we are to believe your comments, Zicam would not sell and retailers sure as hell wouldn't put six more products like it on the shelf. Sure, Hank; your comments make a lot of sense.
<GUMM's other products will never generate any significant revenues. Nicotine gum? Give me a break. They only have about a dozen better quality products...>
Have you seen or tasted Gum Tech's nicotine gum? You couldn't have because it's not on the market yet! How then can you know anything about the quality of their gum or compare it to anything on the market. You say there are a dozen products on the market. List them. You are lying. Nicorette has over 90% of the market for smoking cessation products in the US and the only other company that has an approved ANDA to sell nicotine gum in the US is Watson. Watson's gum isn't on the market yet. The only other company that I know of that sells nicotine gum internationally is Novartis. Swedish Match didn't pick Gum Tech as their partner without careful consideration. If you think that the Swedish Match/Gum Tech joint venture won't generate significant revenues from the ~$500 million nicotine gum market, you are either in denial or trying to mislead people.
Swedish Match distributes nicotine products in 140 countries and sold their cigarette business in part to concentrate on nicotine gum. They invested $10 million in the joint venture. Tell me, Hank, how much market share do you think that the joint venture will get? Instead of making general statements, how about providing some useful information and reasons that support your opinions.
And BTW, Gum Tech is developing other products that they aren't talking about. If you think that they are stopping with Zicam and nicotine gum, you have another thing coming. Gum Tech is a young growth company and you are foolish to short the stock for anything more than a quick trade.
<In short, GUMM is a POS!>
In short, your opinions are a POS!
Hey, Bill. Why don't you answer my questions yourself? Do you always send the lemmings out in the field when the going gets tough? |
